Why is it that everyone always says to give her flowers and chocolates?

I want to do something UNIQUE and ORIGINAL for my girlfriend. I don't like doing the typical cliche stereotype whatever thing, because she is expecting that. It feels weird to go the standard way for me, because it is nothing special. Well, it is, but, not AS memorable...





So..... who can tell me the best way to show love to a girl or to apologize WITHOUT using chocolates and flowers? My girlfriend doesn't like gifts much. I've given her chocolates and stuff, but she's not that type.





Give me a real story that happened to you or somebody you know. Or your best idea.

well my boyfriend doesnt really like the gifts i buy him either....so i try and make things for him that i know he'll like....i know it sounds kinda corny but its true. example: hes loves art (not very good at it himself, but ya know lol) and im a very artistic person and he loves all my pieces of artwork. so for his birthday last year i painted him a picture of a red snapdragon (a flower) and he just fell in love with it. it was something inexpensive for me and it also was something that came from the heart. so get/make her something that you know she'll love....whether its art, a new soccer ball, a remix cd of her favorite bands....hope this helps

The best way I know is to take her to a very


romatic place like a lovely garden and have


a pic-nic with you and a mini cd player and


spread out a blanket and talk to her while it's


a cool,but not chilly star-lit night!!!


So romantic and so thoughtful at the same time.

I really don't know your age so I don't know what would be appropiate for you and your girlfriend. But you of all people should know what would be best and what she would like.
