Do the valentines gifts go on sale or clearance at some point TODAY? I'm not going home until they do.?

Does anyone know if Valentines gifts, cards, teddy bears, flowers, etc go on sale TODAY? I'm not paying $29.99 for a freakin teddy bear today when it will be $4.99 tomorrow. There has to be some kind of cut off hour where the clearance prices go down TODAY.





Even if it is at like 9:00 PM tonight, I will stall going home until then. I'll tell my girlfriend I got a flat tire or something %26amp; go to the bar while waiting for the clearance items. Can anyone tell me what time I can expect the clearance prices?

Usually not til after midnight tonight. They know there will still be frantic husband's and boyfriends running in there at 10 pm, so clearance sales start tomorrow!





It would be good if you were out of town, and weren't going to see your sweetie til the weekend. You could clean up on half price flowers, candy, and teddy bears!

-cheap way out- by a single rose and a small box of chocolates- say "the single rose is for the single love of my life" plain and simple.
Reply:lol you are CHEAP. there are plenty of ways to do something nice/inexpensive without selling out and waiting for the clearance sales. you're crazy. try making your own card w/ a goofy poem that will make her laugh, or do what i did and get a heart shaped pan at hobby lobby (also can find them at the grocery store) and make a pan or brownies or a cake. it will surely make her smile! I also made a crossword with clues like "where we first met" or "place of our first kiss"





etc. you get the idea.

But at any rate I hope she figures you out before next year. then you won't have to worry about buying anything because you'll be ALONE. Plus, how much money you think you'll be spending at that bar? loser
Reply:$30.00 for a teddy bear? My boyfriend got me one for only $10.00 at wal-mart. I imagine that they'll put the V-day stuff on clearance tomorrow not today.
Reply:Nope...you gotta wait until tomorrow. Waiting until last minute and trying to find the perfect gift until last minute is pretty darn cheap, not to mention shallow, of you. If you love your girlfriend, go out and get her something you cheapskate!!
Reply:Cheapskate, lol Who knows when the prices go down. I don't think there is an actual cutoff time. Yesterday, I was in Eckerd and the prices were slashed by 50% already so try there. Some places dont wait for tonight or tomorrow. Personally, I would kick your *** if you were drinking without me on Valentine's Day until 9:00pm or later...... Go home early. At least grab one of those big baskets off the street vendors. They will more than likely be cheap on the way home. Good Luck.....Happy Valentine's Day!
