I'm going to Thanksgiving dinner at my boss's house- What to bring?

They just invited me, and said they already have everything food-wise, but if I would like to bring something, an appetizer or hors'de'ourve would be welcome.

Any unique ideas? They already have a veggie tray. And no desserts are needed. If not food, then how about nice hostess gifts like flowers or a centerpiece or something? Any suggestions?

My bosses are a husband %26amp; wife team of veterinarians, who own the animal hospital I work for. They are wonderful people %26amp; I would really like to bring something special to show them my gratitude for inviting me to dinner.

Thanks for your ideas!

I have always won big points by sending a floral arrangement/center piece for the dining room table ahead of the event. Have fun!
Reply:Bring your dog
Reply:What about a nice bottle of wine, if the drink, or a cheese and cracker tray.
Reply:A nice bottle or boxed set of nice wine is always (well, usually) good.......or maybe a nice poinsettia plant, or a nice holiday live plant arrangement since holidays are around the corner.......
Reply:A gingerbread house made from the bakery at a premimum grocery store.
Reply:Bring a bottle of white wine ... not Thunderbird.
Reply:Chocolates or Cheese are always good.

Do they have pets ? Gourmet dog biscuits are in !
