No problem. If it's good enough for medal winning olympic athletes, I'd be chuffed to bits.
[Is that a UK expression? Means "inordinately pleased" :-) ]
If you are a man, how would you feel about receiving a bunch of flowers as a gift?
I would be insulted and flattered at the same time. It's a nice gesture but it would also be a disrespectful lack of acknowledging my gender.
Reply:My husband really likes it. I've sent him flowers and he really appreciated it. He likes flowers more than I do.
Reply:It would be nice but we would like to get them in private so that our Buddy's don't make fun of us the next day. Most guys just want sex. Sorry but it is true.
Reply:Whomever delivers them would be greeted with a very strange look from my face. If the delivery person were a hot chick I would probably ask her if she wanted them. If not I would probably pass them around the office to all the women, if I had enough lest I suffer at the hands of some who don't get one. But more seriously, send candy, food, ballons, beer, or hey, a striper! Flowers, bleh... Let nature keep them, they look great outside where they belong.
@Jason W: how does not wishing to recieve flowers make a man insecure? Perhaps you are on the unclear side of the gender pool?
Reply:I would be grateful for the gift, because it came from the heart. It may not be the appropriate thing to send to a man, but it is the thought that counts.
Reply:I am a girl, and if a guy gave my flowers I would feel happy and blessed. For a guy I guess he would feel strange, but some would be happy.
Reply:I would appreciate the thought behind it but would really not enjoy receiving the flowers.
Reply:my husband would love flowers! most men do, they are pretty and part of life. the guy that said that's gay, well he probably never got any as a gift. so there ya stick in the mud!
Reply:if it meant I was getting sex at some point I'd be just fine with it
Reply:if it's a bunch of cannabis flowers, i'd be very happy
Reply:im a woman and i wud loooooove it,heheheh
Reply:If it was from a woman... I would think it's great, very nice. If it was from another guy, I'd be a little worried. LOL
Reply:I would be very touched.
Reply:I prefer plants. I always like a nice addition to my growing collection of indoor flora. Flowers die, but plants last for years and years.
Reply:I would certainly prefer it to a bunch of fives. But given the choice I would prefer to recieve vouchers of sexual intimacy!
Reply:I would appreciate her giving me flowers...knowing that it came from Her Heart...But, flowers are not something I cherish!
However, a beautiful living plant...that would look nice in our place %26amp; would serve as a Reminder of her gift...(afterall flowers die! quickly!)...Would be Great!!!
Maybe, a cool Cactus plant...or a nice Hanging plant that fits well into a prominent corner of our Living Space...Something that will survive some time with the Proper Care...And, yes, Once it is Fully-Blossoming...She can constantly remind me How she knew it was the right plant for me from the moment She picked it up! lol
Reply:heck I am a man a gentleman I love the fragrence of fine flowers they remind me of fine ladies that smell and look gorgeous.
Reply:If i was a man i would be suprised but i would love them. cause i bought some flowers for him and he loved them when evert one else thought i was crazy. i quess it also depends if he even likes flowers.
Reply:I do take this as a compliment... You should learn the language of flowers because some flowers do have hidden meanings.. Their colours too... This is a Victorian art of communication.
Reply:I WOULD FEEL FINE BUT I WOULD PREFER A CASE OF LAGER..
Reply:Flowers for a gift are totally cool. They are a true sign of throughfulness. Sometimes its just different for different men, because they are insecure.
Reply:About the same as a woman would feel receiving a power drill. Conflicted. You don't want to dismiss the gift, but you know she got you what SHE likes without thinking about what YOU like.
Reply:hahahahaha!funny!
Reply:It would be touching, I have never received flowers before. I am too practical, I would rather have a WalMart gift card.
Reply:I sent my ex-bf flowers (when we were still together last year) and he didn't seem to mind at all and had them on his desk which is in a big office. He isn't the sort of person to adhere to stereotypes though.
I think it depends on how you are as a person more than anything else.
Reply:MORTIFIED, if it was another bloke %26amp; guilty, if it was a girl because I never gave them to her.
Reply:i think her as a fool
Reply:You may not take me seriously, due to my questions, but, I am a guy, and getting flowers is super gay. Don't do that. Please have respect for the man's testicles, and get him a subscription to a magazine of some topic he loves. Something. Flowers? GAG.
Reply:i'll feel very happy.
flowers are the sign of happy %26amp; peace for me.
Reply:my husband like getting flowers but if you are dating and not in the relationship very long i dont think a man would like it sending flowers to a man shows a lot of love i think.
