Did your husband/boyfriend give a gift to you after you had your baby?

Did your husband/boyfriend give a gift to you after you had your baby?

Did he bring it to you @ the hospital? What was the gift? Flowers, jewelry, card, etc....

Did your husband/boyfriend give a gift to you after you had your baby?
I think they are called "push presents" and it is supposed to be given in the hospital. But, no my husband did not. I got flowers but I think it is customary to get jewelry.
Reply:No, but he was there and he loved me. That was all I ever wanted from him.
Reply:lol no gifts for me ..he just kept me well fed..all the gifts were for the babies!
Reply:My present each time was the one I wanted! After 4 to 6 hrs. in labor, and ending by 10 pm and hospital cafet. closed, he brought me a big bag of taco bell or what food I wanted and I munched!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was my gift and he did buy a door bow for my room saying it's a boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:No. Wouldnt of entered his head.
Reply:Ha! The "push present"! My aunt received one. Jewelry and he did give it to her at the hospital.

I'm not expecting one though, we're a bit tighter on money and I would hope he would know that it should be spent elsewhere.
Reply:Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

You made my day with your joke!!!!!!!

Just kidding, but I did laugh when I read that! My husband never gives me gifts, especially now that he's in Iraq!
Reply:Hello, my husband did give me a gift once we got home. He had a bracelet made out of the color of our daughter's birthstones and her name in the middle. It was very sweet of him and he says that if we have any more children, another bracelet can be added to this one.
Reply:My husband gave me a necklace with a pendant of mine and my son's birthstones. He brought it with us when we went to the hospital and gave it to me a few hours after the baby was born. Also, while I was in labor during some "down time" he got me a card and stuffed bear for the baby.
Reply:My husband never gave me a material gift, but he never left my side while I was going into labor, actually giving birth, and even after when I was in the hospital for a few days... and that was better than any gift he ever could have given me.
Reply:my husband is in iraq too and when our triplets where born he gave me a new diamond ring and a neckless and a dozen roses and yes he gave them to me at the hospital in front of our familys and all the nurses and my doctor.

he was the happiest father of 2 girls and a boy i ever seen.

Jayleigh May Arrianne Dominique and Aiden Matthew

June 26, 2007 3:45 pm all 5 pounds even. the girls were 19 inches and 21 inches and Aiden was 16 inches hes the youngest and the smallest. it was funny they all weighed the same lol.
Reply:nope...not at all...i dont think it would hve occured to him too..
Reply:He gave me most beautiful seed!
Reply:No tangible gift, but he never left me in the hospital, always gave me a kiss right after baby arrived (we have 3), and then gives me the best gift of all by being a loving husband and wonderful daddy!
Reply:You're funny!! :)

No, he didn't. I hinted that I wanted earrings that match my wedding rings. I don't think I'll see those even after the second baby.
Reply:Nope never got a gift either time, that is probably because he never left me at the hospital alone.
Reply:No, I didn't get any gifts (not even flowers) after having 2 kids!!! My husband is very generous but I guess he didn't know it was customary to do so. I also think that he was feeling very "pregnant" himself and overwhelmed during the deliveries and the weeks after, he was there every minute and I cannot be upset with him because he was a great support for me and the baby. In our 10th anniversary he gave me a beautiful huge rock!!!
Reply:when i was 7 months pregnant i would leave jewelry magazines on his pillow and circle what i wanted. 2 weeks after i had the baby, he gave me jewelry, although not what i circled, but still beautiful.
Reply:lol no way! He was stuck with me in the room the whole time, of course he should have gotten one before hand. Oh well...
Reply:My husband brought me 24 red roses at the hospital because we named our daughter Rose. And my favorite celebrity magazines and some chocolate bars.
Reply:Our baby boy was born in March, so my husband bought me a ring that is aquamarine (March's birthstone). I wear it every day.
