I am meeting my girl friends parents today and would like to get a gift for the mom. Flowers or not? What kind are ok

If you do not have a lot of money get a single yellow rose with some baby breaths. with a lil note card of course.

It also gets you off on the right foot with the mom, which is always the parent you want on your good side. The dad hates you by default because you are dating his daughter, but if the mom likes you she will stick up for you with him and you win. Good thinking on the flowers.

Reply:Gerbera, or some type of daisies. Most women like them and they are not too awkward like giving roses. Don't give a plant, make it a nice bunch of cut flowers.

Stop at the florist and pick up a nice bouquet of mixed seasonal flowers, and a nice moderately priced vase.
