Whats so great about flowers?

I want to know what’s so great about flowers not as a gift but as to our environment, what is their role in our environment? How do they help us out?

Whats so great about flowers?
1. Flowers are the reproductive structures of the flowering plants, and the flowering plants are the dominant form of plants living on Earth today.

2. Flowers have developed ingenious ways of assuring pollination.

3. Flowers contain the parts that become the seeds and fruits -- both valuable food sources for consumers.
Reply:There is something in flowers that we like. Maybe the smell, maybe the look. Maybe the understanding that the flowers are good for the bees that keep our crops going.

It almost seems to be something hardwired into us. Must be good or we would react like when we see a snake, instinctively jumping back, or when we hear a wolf and the hairs on the back of our heads stand up. Something in our past makes flowers an important part of our evolution.
Reply:flowers are just another word for weeds. i read that in a book (:

weeds are unwanted and uneeded, so to answer ur question, the only thing great about flowers are just that they look pretty. they arent good for ur soil, thats worms.
