What are the best flowers or wine would you choose for a hetro couple? I'm quite sure taste in flowers or wine is in no way determined by sexual orentation.
What are the best flowers to send a gay couple? What wine would you choose for a gift?
antherium
Reply:Send them purple flowers and a white wine in a really pretty bottle.
Reply:find out what kind of wine they like and what their favorite color flowers are, just like any other couple. that's what i do for my straight and gay friends.
Reply:same as you would for any other couple!
Reply:wilted and stale
Reply:Sexual orientation aside, a mix bouquet in yellows or pinks (summer colors). Wine -- that would depend on the kind of wine they like (reds v. white).
Reply:daisy chain
Reply:I'd think a mixed bouquet would be nice. Most florists can do that with whatever colors you want. As far as wine, if you know what they like, take that. However, I don't think you can go wrong with Merlot, Chardonnay, or White Zinfandel.

Ladies, do you like to receive Flowers as a gift?
i like to give flowers, but im curious if you really like it?
Ladies, do you like to receive Flowers as a gift?
I melt if my bf gives me flowers! Its so nice and classicly romantic, my heart just stops.
Reply:Yes of course! It is really sweet and thoughtful.
Reply:Not as a gift for a special day...but as a "thinking of you" type of thing.
Reply:mos def
Reply:I am a coin flip on this one.
Of coarse I love to receive flowers, but in private.
I get embarrassed when I get it at work/school/public.
I don't like the production, but I like it as an intimate surprise between me and my partner.
Reply:YES i love flowers. ANY kind of flowers...they dont have to be roses or anything expensive like that...i mean it could be those yellow weeds you find on grass....its the thought that counts and i just think flowers are so lovely!
Reply:Love flowers!! They're so beautiful!
Reply:well u hav to know the right kind of flowers but my dad always says flowers say im sorry chocolate means i luv you!
Reply:I personally love flowers. And consider men who hand them out to be very romantic! However, my suggestion is to save formal bouquets for special occasions. Sunflowers, daffodils, tulips, alstroemerias are all lovely but not too stuffy. (and avoid bouquets with dyed carnations and colorfols plastic wrapping ... much better to deliver a few loose flowers ... in my opinion!)
Reply:sometimes depending on what kind of flowers and what u are expecting to recieve in return i mean if it is an honest and genuine gesture i mean my fiance picked me wild flowers when we first met and he did it to be sweet and that was my biggest fantasy and he fullfilled it then i love it but when a guy goes out and blows money on flowers for me that are just going to die anyway then i find it pointless.
Reply:yeah i do.. i think it's really sweet
Reply:yep, flowers are good. basically any gift is good- its the thought that counts!
Reply:well..its sweet..but it doesn't last long. and now i'm not partial to flowers. a bit on the cheesy side.
but i'm kind of a picky person and don't like getting gifts in general. i know i'm difficult and won't like it..and hate having to lie to ppl about liking the gift.
its best to stick to things that are more personal or simple like a mix tape.
Reply:I LOVE FLOWERS I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TULIPS
Reply:I love getting flowers! Most girls love getting roses but some girls are more of a bright colored out of the ordinary person. I think girls like it. I know I do. But the best way to find out is to ask someone close to the person your getting them for.
Reply:I agree with Jan. Flowers die.
Plus, I rather have something useful.
Reply:always.....you can never go wrong with a fist full of weeds
Reply:No, they die, would rather have a small gift it last forever.
Reply:Nope I dont -- its cheesy and unimaginative, be creative....... (I like shiny things)
Reply:yeah i do. i think it's sweet when a guy gives flowers.
Reply:I do! Note - most women I know prefer to receive them at work (provided they somewhere to display them). Nothing is better than having all your female co-workers ooo and ahhh over them and tell you how great your man is. If you do send them to her work, send them on a Monday. It's a real bummer to get them on Friday and either have to lug them home or come in the following Monday to dead flowers.
Reply:Yes! Flowers are wonderful!
Reply:its ok but its nice to be taken somewhere instead or something more special at times. this article will give you some idea about buying something for that special someone
Reply:Yes, I love it when it comes by surprise.
Reply:yes we do its a sweet gesture as long as its the right kind of flowers of course!

Reply:yes I do I think it is one of the sweest things a guy can do for a girl on her b-day or for a gifl it tell her that you love her and she will love the flowers.

Is sending flowers appropriate as a gift to an orthodontic office for the completion of my treatment?
That would be a very nice gesture. I'm sure they will appreciate it.
Is sending flowers appropriate as a gift to an orthodontic office for the completion of my treatment?
Very nice, but very "over the top" they should send YOU something in thanks for the thousands of dollars you and your insurance paid. LOL Report It
Reply:Only if you want to ask your dentist out on a date.
Other than that, a simple thank-you card will do.
Reply:no, not at all i think that is a lovely gesture and will really make someones day go for it!
Reply:maybe...it really depends on the situation
Reply:I'm assuming you're in the States in which case you probably paid through the nose for the treatment. So: no thank you required, unless there are extenuating circumstances. It is a nice gesture though; just don't feel obliged.
Reply:Do you not think he makes enough money? Thank him and refer him to others.
Reply:I think it's a wonderful idea! The staff will appreciate your gesture tremendously. You are very thoughtful. Great idea. It's much better than candy. My orthodontist often scolded me on what candy and junk food I ate while undergoing treatment. So, in keeping with good dental health, flowers are best.
Reply:Yes it is appropriate.
Reply:I'm sure that it would be much appreciated by everybody that works in the dentist office. It would also make them feel appreciated.
Reply:I am sure they will love it. I was at my dentist's office when a bouquet came as a thank you from a patient. The office went wild the girls were so happy so I bet the same thing will happen if you do it. How thoughtfull of you
Reply:No, they should send you flowers for giving them the business.
Reply:They'd probably rather you paid your bill.
Seriously, it isn't considered necessary to send a gift to a professional office on completion of treatment. Nor do you tip your orthodontist, or the receptionist etc. Just flash them that great smile!
Reply:Absolutely not. They should be sending you flowers for all the money they have from you.
Reply:yes, but i think there are other things that would be more appreciated........i think a gift of food would be better....some baked goods, candies, etc.....whenever i wanted to say thank you to an entire office in the past i've given krispy kreme donuts

Should I bring flowers or a gift to a not close co-workers's daughter's play?
It would be really NICE and KIND but nobody would mind if you didn't .
Should I bring flowers or a gift to a not close co-workers's daughter's play?
nothing if your not close to them its not your kid!
Reply:Flowers! It's about the daughter - not the relationship!
Reply:Nope - your presence should be enough
Reply:My son was in two high school musicals. It surprised me that the kids in the play didn't get more flowers, etc. I always took flowers for the female lead, and for his girlfriend. I waited until the final performance and took him a special gift for his efforts. These kids work so hard to put these productions on, so I know your co-workers daughter would love to get a small bouquet of flowers! I picked up the flowers at our local Walmart or grocery store, so the price was low but the smiles I got back in return made it so worth it!
Reply:Oh, definitely flowers.
Bringing a gift should be for family or very close friends.
:]
Reply:No need at all. Your presence is a show of support for her and her family. That should be enough. In fact, her family should take you out for a meal after the play. he he!
Reply:Geeze, I think it's above and beyond just to go to the play, if it's a school play.

Have you ever been given flowers "just because"?
I am a Man answering your "Just Because". I am 37 and I have always given flowers to women. I love the way it makes her feel, to see her eyes light up and put a big smile on her face! Roy Rogers once said; "Chivery is not dead, it's just alittle ill right now!" Good Luck!
Reply:my babys dad gave me flowers for our 2nd date and my ex husband gave me roses 2 X while he was courting me - but both turend out to be losers after i marreid the hubby never got flowers again and the babys dad got me preg and dumped me.
Reply:I am a guy and I do it all the time. It's part of being a prince.
Reply:Yes, sometimes they are on sale.
Reply:My ex boyfriend did all the time, he was super romantic. But now I've only received flowers once just because- very early in the relationship- and never since. I miss it...
Reply:How sweet. Girl. Tell your man that you would not mind him surprising you with flowers every now and then. Sometimes flowers don't enter a man's mind!
Reply:I know I am not a lady but I quite often will give or send flowers for no other reason then to remind a lady that i love her and appreciate all she does.

My neighbor has breast cancer and is going through chemotherapy. I need some great ideas to help her or gifts!
Her co-workers have already gotten a cleaning service. I don't know about what your appettite is after chemo for meals and I know that she's wiped out for days after treatment. I really want to do something that would be helpful, not just flowers. Please help me brainstorm!!!! She's in her 50's.
My neighbor has breast cancer and is going through chemotherapy. I need some great ideas to help her or gifts!
When you go through cancer and you lose your hair during chemo, it actually takes a major toll on how you feel about yourself. I would treat her to a day at the spa. Maybe a manicure %26amp; pedicure. It might give her a little boost to her self esteem and that can do wonders for her as she goes through this tough time.
Reply:Offer to take her places. Go run errands for her, like to the post office or bank or drug store. Go visit her and just let her talk. Ask her directly how you can help. Ask her if she needs somebody to talk to, if she has emotional suppport. Sit and spend time with her, quietly listening to her.
Reply:BAth and Body works!!! If it were me I would love that!! Spoil her!! music too, uplifting music!
Reply:So is my neighbour.... When she told me about her cancer I went home and made a heart quilt in 2 weeks. I appliqued the hearts on alternate squares and used floral fabrics. I made it so that it could be wrapped around her body and it is big enough to lay on top of a single bed.
She was so happy she cried. I called it my happiness %26amp; love quilt.
I don't go over too often because she is a private person and when she has her chemo she sleeps a lot.
I also give her occasional bunches of flowers - small ones that can go on her bedside table.
Just be available and when you do see her always smile and talk for awhile. It's nice to acknowledge anyone with a smile when they are sick .
My neighbour got herself a couple of wigs that look really natural and I commented on how nice she looked the day I saw her wearing one.
I doesn't matter what age she is - just be a friend.
Reply:When she's home alone and you know she's eating gross soup bring her her favorite food...even it cost you a little bit..or go put pictures in her room of her and her kids or you and her...or if you have a laptop lend her it for a day so she can check her email..or bring her the candle she loves and light it up and have some wine..lindts chocolates always cheer people up..have your kids draw her a picture..plan a trip to the spa when shes done with treatment so she has something to look foward too..offer to pick her grocerys up..or cook dinner..paint her nails..and your nails
just some ideas i hope i could help

Reply:treat her like a princess. Bring her lunch, watch movies with her. If she needs groceries offer to pick them up for her and run other errands for her. Get up early and make coffee for her. Make her a special dessert that she loves. brownies/chocolate chip cookies etc. Help re-decorate/paint a room in her house and fill it with inspiring pictures/colors/etc. Take her to see a musical or a play of her choice on a day that she feels up to it. Do things for her that are above and beyond a simple card and flowers, things that she will truly appreciate.

Ideas for gifts for a tennis coach?
My tennis team is going to give our coach a gift at the end of the season, but we need ideas. We'll probably get him flowers, but something else more personal would be good.
Ideas for gifts for a tennis coach?
Gift certificate to tennis stores are always a good idea. However, if you are looking for something more personal, Guts and Glory Tennis sells custom created tennis gift baskets for men at varying price points. Here's the web site page with some gift basket information.

Good luck!
Reply:Depending on how much u guys want to spend, why not a plaque from your Awards place. U know where they get trophies from in high school r jr. high. U can pick out a design for the plaque and engrave it any way u like. R maybe go the Sport store like Academy's or something and pick out what they need or use the most. Like another tennis racket, r a personalized cover for it. They would love anything as long as its thoughtful.

You all can sign it too if you'd like.

Thank you for asking. God bless.

Reply:I don't like getting flowers. They are pretty for a while and then they die and then throw them away. I'd refer getting potted flowers or something I can plant out of doors and watch it grow.
Wine is fine, but only if your not drinking alone. And then after it's all gone all you got left is an empty bottle and a nasty headache from all the wine.
Candy isn't dandy but it's all gone in a while and all you have left is an empty box and 5 extra pounds on your buttocks and thighs
The Card--I'll take the card becasue I can enjoy that for years to come and I don't have to toss it away unless I want to.

Reply:I don't drink wine and I'm gonna cut back on candies, but I really enjoy receiving a card.
I tell my family, even if they don't have anything else to give to me for my birthday/x-mas, I would really appreciate a card.
Thank you for asking. God bless.
Reply:I like flowers because they are pretty, but a card lasts longer.
Reply:flowers!! and just spending time with that person is good too! %26lt;3
Reply:I will take whatever I can get!

Are you required to get gifts for everyone (family, attendants) at your wedding?
I am having a smallish wedding (100 guests) and no wedding attendants (bridesmaids, groomsmen). My cousins are going to pass out programs, my sister is the guest registrar, my brother is giving me away. I have a three year old flower girl and her brother as ring bearer... am I supposed to get all of these people gifts? The wedding is quite informal and going to be short, but I just thought that it wasn't really necessary to get everyone a gift... is this true? I really don't want to get them gifts.
Are you required to get gifts for everyone (family, attendants) at your wedding?
I think you should. Just to show your appreciation, it does not have to be extravagant. A $10 gift certificate to a toy store for the kids, for example.
Reply:Yes, I would get them gifts because they are in the wedding.
Something small like a necklace for the girls and personalized stuff for the boys.

Great ideas!
Reply:In a traditional wedding party, here is who gets gifts: the parents, maid of honor, best man, bridesmaids, groomsmen, ring bearer, and flower girl. Most people also give gifts, although smaller, to the ushers and reader.
Considering the informality of your wedding and size of it, I would say that the people you listed should get gifts, but small ones. A handmade card with a genuine note of thanks and a corsage/bout. for them to wear would be enough. But both of your parents still get gifts, and good ones.
Reply:it would be appropriate to get them a small something just to show your appreciation. maybe a candle or something?
Reply:Yes u need to get some small gift of appreciation for those who are helping u and for the mothers of the bride and groom. that is appropriate and is customary. enjoy your day and take care...
Reply:There is no set expectation anymore, however.... it is something you can do and it has been done many times before. You don't have to give them anything extravagant by any means... you can make little gifts from very little money that are more meaningful. For example, I got my ring bearer and flower girl two "silver" toned yoyos... you can get them on eBay by searching for "silver yoyo". It was a hit! This is a great gift for your brother as well - it is truely entertaining to anyone who receives it. Any yoyo will do... little thoughtful gifts can go a long long way, even a bag of candy for the kids. Have a happy wedding.
Reply:Your wedding looks like my wedding...
I didn't get people a gift, but I bought about 300 small chocolate with our name and the date on the paper, and I put them near the golden book and on the table near each glass.
So it wasn't really a gift, but at least there was something for the guests. They really appreciate it !
Reply:They should still get gifts as a sign of appreciation for doing the things they are for your wedding. It can be something small and simple...get the kids a few toys (I got my flower girl some dress up jewelry), get the girls some cute earrings or a necklace...it doesn't have to be expensive, but you really should get them a gift, regardless of how big or formal your wedding is.
Reply:Just get the flower girl and ring bearer gifts. Make sure they are gifts that will keep them occupied (Barbies, coloring books, toy cars, etc.). Make sure to stay away from cellophane-wrapped candy because that noise could show up on the wedding video.
I was a scripture reader and bulletin person at different weddings, and didn't receive anything. I wasn't offended. Attendants are usually the only ones who get gifts (jewelry for the women to wear and things for the guys so that they don't feel left out).

What is traditional to send to a Korean family in mourning? Flowers? Food?
My co-worker's cousin died suddenly and we are not sure if he is Buddhist or not, but he is definitely Korean. We would like to be as appropriate as possible in sending gifts to the family. Also, would it be appreciated if 2 close co-workers were to attend the funeral? Help is greatly appreciated!!
What is traditional to send to a Korean family in mourning? Flowers? Food?
From looking things up on the net, apparently the most common gift is money to the family, whether they send choose to bury it with the loved one or use it as expenses, they apparently pass along money as a funeral "gift".
Reply:maybe a nice plant, im sure it would be alright to attend the funeral ,
Reply:you might read up on this some cultural only use certain colors for funerals or accept certain gifts so you don't want to offend.

What would be a good gift for mother in law besides flowers or roses?
A day spent with her. Treat her out.
What would be a good gift for mother in law besides flowers or roses?
If you get well with her, a perfume is a good choice. I imagine it's her birthday, am I right?
If you don't get along with her, a one way ticket to Timbuktu should do the trick!
Reply:A nice braclet
Reply:A cashmere scarf or a spa coupon or maybe an elegant bracelet. It all depends on your budget .
Reply:Do you have kids? If so a good picture of her grandkid(s) in a nice frame. If not, just about anything from Hallmark or a gift card to a store or restaurant she might like.

Reply:Make them a MemoryPress book.
Two years ago, my friend did a MemoryPress for her Grandparents for their anniversary. It worked wonderful. She talked her Grandpa into writing his story of how he met and how he got engaged and then had her Grandma do the same. After they had both written, she invited all of her Grandparent family and friends to come to the book. (Inviting is easy on MemoryPress, the system just send out emails for you) By the end she had like a 180 page book to give to her grandparents for their anniversary.
It was a huge hit. and the book was less than $60
I also did one of these for my grandparents. They cried when they got the book.
Reply:After that much time as a couple I am sure they have many cherished memories captured by camera - as photos. You could turn some of those memories into very unique and classical-looking portraits or paintings done by the creative and professional artists at http://www.paintyourlife.com
they have many great gift ideas in the form of portraits from photos or pictures. Check them out for yourself!

Reply:Dinner at a nice restaurant; theater tickets; concert tickets; a getaway weekend; a trip to a resort;his and hers spa treatments; jewelry; a computer (if they don't already have one)
Reply:It's hard to answer without knowing what you planned to spend on their anniversary. Some people might only send a card and some people could afford to send them on a cruise. Maybe a bottle of wine or dinner out (alone, no one jumping out yelling surprise at them) or rent them a room at the notell motel
Reply:Friend of mine gave her parents a vacation, yes she had four other siblings to help chip in. The vacation was to Bermuda.....maybe if you can afford it and/or have other
siblings that want to chip in and give a group gift you could look into a weekend away which would be much more affordable.....it could be in driving distance and be at a nice hotel/motel, bed and breakfast ....or one of those short cruises (if your near the coast) and they wouldn't need an
airfare expense but I've seen vacations for 3-4 days with airfare for about $500.00 check out on-line or with a local travel agent for any of the above you just might be surprised.
Alot of times you don't even have to worry about booking to far in advance..they have great deals for places that didn't rent all the rooms or last minuet cancellations.
Something else to look into would be some kind of jewelry memorabilia that you could have something engraved on the back ....like 25 years strong and still going and their wedding date or even a photo session coupon to get a family portrait taken, that would be awesome and possibly in your price range!
After 25 years of marriage most parents can't remember the last time they had at least 24 hours alone. (nothing against kids but I know I'd LOVE it)
Good Luck...you're very thoughtful and your parents are blessed to have you!

Valentine's day, flowers to boyfriend's mom...?
I kinda want to send my boyfriend's mom some flowers for Valentines day, is that weird?
He hasn't even gotten ME any flowers, my friend says that's weird...and that I shouldn't send his mom any because it'll look like I'm hinting at flowers from him. Honestly, I would love for him to be like that...my last boyfriend set my expectations high by spoiling me with flowers and gifts, rings, etc, which sucks.. I'm trying to get over it and realize this one isn't like that. Anyway, flowers to her - should I or shouldn't I?

Well its a nice gesture but not really the done thing. You haven't been seeing her son that long - she might be a bit puzzled by the gesture.
I wouldn't.
Well I might but she has been my MIL for years, is Granny to my son and has been a good friend but even then Valentines day is for lovers not in laws!
Reply:Why would you......I am sure your boyfriend won't get her anything....but if you want it to be nice go ahead...........

How do I send flowers to my sis-in-law in Florida when I live in the UK?
My sis-in-law in Florida gave birth to my niece last night! I live in the U.K. Is there some way I could orders flowers or a suitable gift for my sis-in-law and new born baby, to be delivered to the hospital in Tampa? I think only Interflora or Hallmark do it but they are sooo expensive and I am just a student of moderate means! Help!
How do I send flowers to my sis-in-law in Florida when I live in the UK?
The Internet is the only way in your case. Even ifyou live down here, it is expensive. However, I would not try to send it to the hospital since here in the states women only stay about 2 days and go home. Send it to her home...less stuff to carry home from the hospital. Another suggestion would be to send a plant which will continue to grow.
Reply:check yahoo
Reply:find a local florist in her area and pay via credit card or money order or whatever they say.

Flowers that have red AND yellow petals? UK?
I know tulips can have but I'm looking for something other than tulips really as they're my favourite flowers and I'm looking for a flowery gift for my mother-in-law. According to father-in-law she only really likes flowers that have red and yellow petals together, at the same time, lol. Nothing like an awkward woman is there? Thanks in advance guys.

Roses are frequently bicolor with red %26amp; yellow. Look to Cambridgeshire, Cha Cha, or the beautiful old single rose Austrian Copper. To add frgrance look for Shiela's Perfume, Bella'roma or French Perfume.

There is a miniature called baby Masquerade for small size.
Rio Samba both colors.

What about a rose that not only has red and yellow together but changes the amount of red and yellow as the blossom ages. Color changing has been used to great effect in some roses producing staged color shifts in roses like Joseph Coat, Mutabilis, Masquerade, Double Delight, or Flutterby that begin yellow and shift to cerise tones.

Are these gifts ok for my son's headstart teachers for Christmas?
He has a teacher and a teacher's aid in his class. I got them each a flower shapped candle holder w/candle and a very nice ball point pen w/case. Is that enough? What do teachers like to get?
Are these gifts ok for my son's headstart teachers for Christmas?
That sounds perfect! Maybe your son can color a Christmas card for them too. Just use a blank piece of paper....the teachers will be touched.
Reply:that is very nice i think. my mom is a preschool teacher and she gets so many things.. but i know she likes when she gets candles, cute ornaments and gift cards for dunkin donuts
Reply:I have three kids with multiple teachers and teachers aids so I am baking lots of christmas goodies and sending each one a cookie tin filled with them. I also bought one of the gift sets at walmart with like 9 different coffee flavors in it and will break it up into 9 different gifts to save money.
I would think what you chose to do is fine.

What are some unique ideas for a wedding reception?
I am getting married in June, the service is outside with a gazebo, pond w/ a fountain, ect, then the reception is inside (it is at a country club). I am looking for some interesting ideas for decorations, gifts, flower girls and ring bearers (we are having 2 of each b/c they are just too cute). We want to do things differently, not the same traditional wedding you always go to...
What are some unique ideas for a wedding reception?
You have chosen the traditional time of year %26amp; place for June wedding, so too different would not fit. Choose small differences like your double flower girls %26amp; ring bearers. My daughter had 3 flower girls %26amp; 2 ring bearers, since they come in right before you they are sooo cute but needed to blend well or they will steal the show. She carried large bouqet of white tulips %26amp; bridesmaids carried balls of different colored roses - the tulips were outstanding. The centerpieces on tables were large candlebras with 10 votive candles. They never blew out %26amp; were different than usual flowers or glass bowls. Lots of people comment on how striking they were. We rented them at same place as tablecloths - we wanted color to match bridesmaids dresses %26amp; caterer did not have correct color. You may wanted to go to rental stores %26amp; see what they have different. She even gave trees to plant for gifts. It was unique %26amp; the price did not completely kill her Dad %26amp; I. LOL
Reply:When I lived in the Mediterranean we had this huuuuge garage under our villa, where we had at intervals "theme parties". I planned a "Halloween theme" at that time of year.... or a "Spring Awakening" theme, where people dressed up as something that related to the topic. I remember one couple came dressed up, the woman in a "S;pring Daffodil" kind of outfit, and her husband came as a "spring onion" which was pretty hilarious. We had a Neptune Theme one time, where the food was all about seafood and we had the area decorated with sand, seaweed, driftwood and that kind of thing.
We had so much fun with those and it makes me think along those lines for you to do. Think of a theme that you can associate either with that time of year... or summer in general.... or perhaps even about the "life cycle".... or something that symbolizes the stages of life, with all its ups and downs, and partnership and sharing that kind of thing. Even something that reflects the personality of the both of you, or something that sort of identifies you with those who know the two of you. Anything that would allow you to reflect your theme in the food, the wine, the decor, the bridesmaids' outfits and the music at the reception. Anyway, you get the general idea. Hope this might get your creative juice flowing LOL

My flower girl and junior bridesmaid were seated so they werent a distraction. I offered guestes guest boutineers (well had someone). We played Signed, sealed delivered when we walked out. We also had a dessert buffet instead of serving a meal and we didnt have a guest book. We had a wishing well instead, with a sign that said.
Do students in your country bring gifts on christmas and easter or mother's day t, etc to their teachers?
what kind of gifts?
here they bring flowers, sweets , some objects related to the celebration, fragrances, even golden jewerly to teachers women..
they give less more at primary school and secondary school, less at high-school , and almost never at university.
here there is also a celebration called'' woman's day''when the teachers received presents and flowers a lot..
when i was a child..i could hardly wait for that day....the teacher used to tahank us..and kiss us..
Do students in your country bring gifts on christmas and easter or mother's day t, etc to their teachers?
I used to bring my teachers christmas presents - normally a small box of chocolates each.
That was pretty much primary, middle and secondary school.
Once I got to sixth form, I went to a different school and didn't give anyone any gifts. (I hated all my teachers)
Now I'm at uni, I only give christmas presents to my personal tutor and my disability officer.
Reply:India is predominantly non-Christian country. Consequently, the bringing of on the occasion of Christman etc. is limited to Christriqn institutes. The teachers in most schools are not followers of Christianithy.Consequently such exchange of gifts is restriced to some Christian schools.Exchange of gifts even in non-Christian religions is more or less restricted to boxes of sweet.
Reply:to our teacher not really. perhaps for v-day but that is all.

Are flowers enough for a birthday gift?
I just simply want to know if flowers are enough for a birthday gift. They're a lot of money.
Word life.
Are flowers enough for a birthday gift?
I never liked getting flowers. To me they cost to much and they just die. I would rather have something that I could use.

How much overhead can u save from a home based business?
I am thinking about selling flowers and gift baskets from the home than rent a building somewhere else.
How much overhead can u save from a home based business?
You can save quite a bit of overhead, however you will no doubt run into problems with the zoning laws that will probably forbid you from running a commercial establishment in a residential area.

Gifts for the dead?
Every Tueday morning i walk to my local cemetery and leave flowers and gifts for the dead. There are severals grave sites that I visit regularly and have a connection to. I was just wondering what sort of gifts you would leave? Or possibly something that maybe I could leave.
Please do not give me any stupid answers such as : "thongs!" or anything sexualy related for that matter.
This is a serious question that I would like thoughtful and serious answers for.
Thanks.

What are some nice romantic gifts that you can deliver?
my girlfriend lives 5 hours away right now and for sweetest day i want to send her something. i know about the traditional flowers, card, and candy but is there anything else?
What are some nice romantic gifts that you can deliver?
don't give anything that is meaningless, just give her your true love, thats sure work! ^^ Give her your full-of-love heart!
Reply:plants are great too and books...you sure do plan ahead..
Reply:I agree with the above answers, but if you really want something delivered there are those singing telegrams (if she would like that kind of thing) or you could send those teddy bears that have different outfits based on themes. If you decide to send something be sure to send a thoughtful card with a hand-written message.
Reply:vicky896 is right. I am pretty sure that you are all she needs. But if you really want to get her something, make a basket of little things that you know she will love and give it to her on ANY day, just cause...that will be very special.
What about making a picnic basket and taking her to a park and spending quality time with each other. Aww :)
I am pretty sure she will be happy with what ever you decide to give her.

What are good valentines gifts for a teenage girl?
ok me and my gf have been goin out for 5 months and next month before valentines day will be 6 months. i was wondering what would be a good gift for a 18 year old girl? i kno flowers/cards/ teddy bears and chocholate are all good but what else would a girl want?! i want this one to be really special so girls if you could help me thanks!! would any girls like jewlery or somethin or just the basics?!
What are good valentines gifts for a teenage girl?
Perfume a meal and chocs and flowers.
Jewelry would be good as well if you are feeling flush.
Reply:Perfume, jewelry, gift cards from her fave stores like the gap, old navy, target so she can get the things she needs. Girl love purses and bags. A nice coach bag or a key chain is cute.
Reply:What better gift to offer your friend than a “living” portrait of your love and care for her. Select a photo or picture of something she likes most and send it to the creative and professional artists from http://www.paintyourlife.com. I assure you, they will turn it into a classical-looking painting!
If you are looking for an affordable gift urgently, the same company also has a studio for oil paintings reproductions. So, visit them at http://www.oil-paintings-reproductions.c... and take a look at their 'stock on sale'.
Reply:That's easy a mobile phone the one that slides open with a text keyboard and has a mp3 player so on and so forth.
Reply:Make something on your own. Girls LOVE that. Like, make her cookies or some kind of charm. It has to be something heart-felt that you put a lot of work into, though. Sentimental value is very important.

What other Valentine's day gifts can I give to my girlfriend?
I was thinking about ordering a nice bouquet of flowers and having them delivered to her workplace as a surprise. Then, I found this nice red/maroon bear, not too big not too small, that I can give to her. Finally, I was thinking about a nice dinner at a steakhouse or something like that....not too fancy, but formal-casual. Are these nice gifts or can give more? Our relationship will be at 2 months after the week of Valentine's Day.
What other Valentine's day gifts can I give to my girlfriend?
Everything you suggested sounds lovely. Don't go overboard though - your relationship is fairly new.
You know your situation best so it's hard for someone who doesn't know you to give definite advice. I know I personally would love to get flowers at work. It's a great surprise and I'm the type of person who would love the attention I would get at work when the flowers come! You have to judge whether your girlfriend would feel the same way.
You sound very romantic and thoughtful. Follow your common sense first and your heart a little too.
I hope you and your girlfriend have a very Happy Valentine's day!
Reply:it sounds really nice! there is nothing more you need to give her I think you covered everything! I am sure she is going to be a happy girl! What your getting her is perfect especially that you haven't been dating that long. I hope the two of you have a special valentine's day!!!
Reply:That's a really good idea, just make sure you dont tell her about the flowers. my bf told me he's getting flowers delivered and its not as exciting.
And the teddy bear's a good idea 2 and dinner is also a good idea.
you're onto it!!
Reply:The things you have planned are considered typical Valentine's gifts. There's nothing wrong with them, they actually sound nice!!! If you want to do something REALLY nice for your girlfriend then try doing something sentimental that she'll be able to see you really care! Try making something or doing something extra special! Do you ever send a Thank you note for a gift, flowers, dinner, etc.?
I send thank yous for a dinner party we've attended, flowers, gifts, etc. Anytime someone has gone out of there way, I try to write a little note.
Do you ever send a Thank you note for a gift, flowers, dinner, etc.?
I try to do this as well, but often I am to lazy... my solution is to "gush" thanks upon the person when present or to call. But we all know that a little thank you written down carries so much more value. Report It
Reply:I send thank you notes for kindnesses that are shown to me whether it be a gift, dinner or even a kind word of encouragement.
I always make sure to thank the giver of a tangible gift, even if it's not a major gift. The gratitude shown through a written thank you note can really make the giver feel special. Also, it lets the giver know that you really appreciate the fact that he or she thought about you.
It's also important to send notes to family members or even spouses. Often, people forget to write notes of thanks for gifts given by those closest to them. Thanking your spouse, brother, mom or dad for gifts can mean a lot to them.
While it can seem overwhelming to write thank you notes, it's important to remember that you don't have to write a novel of gratitude. A few lines of appreciation are sufficient.
But probably the best reason to send thank you notes is that you get to give a gift to the person who gave you gift. In this case, you're giving the gift of mail that's not a bill! Anyone would be appreciative of that!
Reply:A little note is always appreciated, I'm ashamed to admit that I even have personalized ones, haha!
I also encourage my children to write notes to classmates, or friends that remember their birthdays or are nice to them
Reply:Always send them when I dont get to see someone who sends you something.
Reply:Yes. Thank you notes are always appreciated. And they're so easy! Just dash off a few lines and you're done.

When's the last time you recieved flowers or a gift from your loved ones?
Birthday!
When's the last time you recieved flowers or a gift from your loved ones?
Sadly, I've never received flowers from any man that I've dated ... and this includes that short disaster of a marriage too. The only way I get cut flowers in my home is when I either take a PHOTO of the flowers (Myself with my Digital SLR Camera) ... when I plant the seeds (and tend my own garden) ... or I go out to the Florist/Flower Market (and pay for them myself).
Reply:The last time I recieved flowers was around Valentines day... I didn't physically recieve them but a guy I know had knew I liked yellow daisies, he was out and about (lives in another state) and saw a vase of them... snapped a pic w/ his phone and sent it to me... actually one of the sweetest things someone has done for me.
Reply:The longer your together.....the bigger the differance the word "gift" gets. He just did the dishes.....the best gift i could ask for tonight.
Reply:Never actually, thanks for bringing it up.

How can I convince my sister not to fall in love with her TEACHER?
My crazy sister is in love with her teacher. I mean she really loves him and I must admit that he is so damn gorgeous and handsome, but he has a girlfriend and he never ever looked at her in the way she does to him. I thought it was just admiration, but it turned out to be real love!! from her side, of course. She's sending him flowers and gifts. What should I do?
How can I convince my sister not to fall in love with her TEACHER?
Speaking as a teacher myself, I can tell you that there are those few students who develop crushes or what they feel is true love on us. After all, teachers are human too and people are people.
However, I would explain to your sister the dangerous consequences of having a personal relationship (affair) with a teacher. Most important, it can cost the teacher his or her job if the affair becomes known! There's a line that teachers must not cross, and inappropriate student contact such as dating is an absolute no-no.
And I would explain that it's natural to develop feelings for people you see everyday and are in a position of authority, like a teacher. But getting personally involved in these situations, such as a boss and subordinate employee are dangerous for both parties. And if it doesn't work out, which happens in many cases, it can be devastating and harmful to both.
For a student, it could mean that the teacher is tougher on grading and "picks on that student." And for the teacher, it can lead to being fired!
Bottom-line, it's not worth the risk for your sister, nor for the teacher himself!
Reply:it is not about what you can do, it is about what she must do!
she must forget him and you need to forget about this! so just let this pass.do not get involved OK!? let things follow their natural course
Reply:tell her that there are better and younger people out there and that she will find someone that is her age plus her teacher is not going to like her that way!!! my bigger brother in in love with his teacher to i think it is a little weird!
Reply:smack her into reality!!! try to take her out to meet other men.
it sounds like a crush
Reply:I say let her go on with what she is doing, because soon enough she will see that he isn't in to her that way. What ever you do, don't tell her not to do something that has to do with a man. I know....my mom and most of my family was against my boyfriend when I was 18 and told me not to marry him...what do you think happened. Yep, married him mostly because was told i shouldn't. Its the age now.....just let her learn her own lessions in love and be there for her when it doesn't happen the way she wants it too...good luck.

Has anyone ever sent an anonymous gift like flowers or candy to someone?
And they were either straight or maybe you didn't know if they swung your way? If so, did you ever tell them it was from you and what happened?
Has anyone ever sent an anonymous gift like flowers or candy to someone?
Perhaps I am in the minority, but this is really not a good idea. You probably do not know their relationship status, and this could cause someone really bad problems..sad but true. Perhaps it would be better to lay back a little, observe, talk to the person in general ways, and get the lay of the land before you do this...and flowers or candy should always have a note with them...think of it in the worst terms! What if, in their egomania, they imagine princess or prince charming sent them, and were disappointed to find that you did...that could be crushing, don't you think? Good luck, and peace.
Reply:Good question I just mailed out a letter to someone. I'm not sure if they like me back. But I figured I'd live a little! I would personally love to get flowers; but, I guess some people wouldn't. Report It
Reply:i received an anonymous flower( a red carnation) and a bunch of hershey kisses for valentine's day with a note attached, and i received them at school...but i have NO idea who sent them.
and the note said that if i wanted to find out who the anonymous person was, that they would meet me at my bus stop at this certain time.
it was the most funniest thing ever because i did find out who sent them to me.

So i sent her flowers and wrote on the card saying that it was nice to meet her and if we could still hang out as friends it would be great. Next thing you know we had a relationship that lasted for 2years Before she dumped me saying things were just getting to hard. (her parents didn't know and she still lived at home unlike me where my parents knew and i didn't live at home)

Which one word can be put in front of each of the following : band, board, chest, eye, flower, gift?
I am told that the answers can be found in the Oxford Dictionary.
Which one word can be put in front of each of the following : band, board, chest, eye, flower, gift?
I really hope that this is not a trick question because I have spent quite a bit of time trying to come up with an answer. I can thin k of a few words that fit with some, but not all. For example "military". My best hope is "full". Do you mean the concise, shorter or full OED?
If there is a sensible answer, my curiosity would be grateful if you could let me know by email.

Which do you prefer to receive as a gift, flowers or chocolate?
depends.
if I get chocolate I share them- so do I want to share with the person giving them to me? lol.
I love flowers and I don't get them often enough- I send them to others all the time- I even get a discount because of it. Sad eh? and I sometimes I don't even get a thank you.

What perfume/flowers do you like the most and why?
If your boyfriend or husband wanted to buy you some perfume as a gift what would you most like to receive regardless of the cost and why?
Also what are your favourite kind of flowers?
(And no its not a Birthday/Christmas/Guilty Conscience gift!)
What perfume/flowers do you like the most and why?
I like the fragrance Chloe. Why, because I like it.
My favorite flowers are purple Irises. Why, because I like them.
These are subjective answers. Not every woman will agree with my choices. The woman you are thinking of probably has very distinct likes and dislikes when it comes to fragrance as well. Instead of asking the whole world, why not just ask her?
By the way, I think you are a sweetheart for thinking of her this way.
Reply:I personally like Europhia by Calvin Klein, as well as some other fragrances, this one stands out the most because the smell is distinct and it lingers, you don't have to put on much. I also like Realities its kind of a Early Saturday Morning Scent, (refreshing I guess.) I also like Angel for the Fall months.
As far as flowers I like single roses, not red maybe white or pink.
Reply:I love lillies, they are beautiful and simple.
And for perfume, there is this egyptian perfume called flower of saqqara..its divine. I don't think its available in states..i got it in Egypt...but you can get her Chanel Chance parfum. (Its brand New)

roses do the trick for me... red / pink / peach all go !

What can I use my big empty basket for?
First off, I don't want to put flowers or gifts of any kind inside it.
It's a brown basket that has a handle and it's about the size of a breadbox. It's shaped very strangely too. It's rectangular, but it has two rounded edges. I usually keep a few books or photo albums init, but it is somewhat deep so it doesn't hold big things well, and it's too big to hold tiny items.
I was just looking for something to put into it, or maybe to make something simple out of it to get it off the floor and looking better.
Thanks for any suggestions.
What can I use my big empty basket for?
I love baskets and use them all over the house. I have one in the dining room full of cloth napkins, several next to chairs that are used to hold magazines and catalogs, one in the kitchen that has recipes that I am going to try, another one in the kitchen full of all sorts of snack things that keeps children of visitors busy if they are told they can choose one, one full of things like soap, disposable razors, small cans of shaving cream, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, etc so guests can get something they need if they left theirs at home (most of the items are from hotels). The last one is left on the floor in the guestroom and has brought comments from almost all of our guests. Baskets make it easy to keep the house clean as you can pick them up to dust or vacuum under and around them, and they keep clutter off of the endtables and the coffee table.

Reply:You no summer is coming, and if you have a deck or patio. it could be use for manythings outside like hanging flowers in it or lay it on the side on your garden and put soil in it so you can plant things in it. or make a mailbox or flyer holder
Reply:make it into a game basket - keep puzzle books, crossword etc in it. I use some of my bigger baskets for holding CD's, DVD's, or you could organize your scrap booking things in it... make it a scrap booking station to go.. put all your important items that you use a lot in it and take it with you. it's easy and portable. put stationary, nice pens, envelopes and stamps in it.
Reply:maybe you can put your newspapers in it

The last one is left on the floor in the guestroom and has brought comments from almost all of our guests. Baskets make it easy to keep the house clean as you can pick them up to dust or vacuum under and around them, and they keep clutter off of the endtables and the coffee table.

Reply:Maybe you could put folded towels in it? Or lots and lots of fruit :)
Reply:maybe you can put your newspapers in it
What to do with a guy who doesn't really see the need in giving flowers or cards etc?
I am dating a very sweet, respectful guy. We just celeberated our one month anniversary. B/c it's only been one month, I decided to make him a small, home made (personalized) card, as a nice gesture for the occassion. He did not give me a card or anything but did take me out and pay for a nice dinner. I do not mind NOT getting anything from him--as he did pay for dinner and it's only been one month. However, some of my friends are telling me that he should have given me something (i.e. a card or gift or flowers etc). I would think that for more important milestones, my guy would actually do something, therefore I do not feel the need to make a scene over a month anniversary. Any thoughts on this scenario? Are my friends being overly critical or should I say something to my guy?
P.S. I already asked this question before, but am looking for more opinions.
What to do with a guy who doesn't really see the need in giving flowers or cards etc?
it sounds like we are dating the same guy!!! i had the same problem at one time. my guy was really sweet but was lacking in the romance department. a lot of guys don't realize that women truly appreciate small thoughtful gestures. i talked to my guy and told him that while i do appreciate the things he does for me (buying me dinner, taking me out on the town,e tc) i would like for him to do smaller things to let me know he's care. since that convo, he has really stepped up to the plate! so, if this situation bothers you, talk to your guy. if not, forget what your friends say.
also, stop telling your friends about everything that happens between you and your man. sometimes, they will not always steer you in the right direction.
Reply:My opinion is that you must be about 14 years old to celebrate a 1 month anniversary and worry about what your friends say.
Reply:He did get you something a full tummy. Guys don't get all involved in anniversaries. I do think your friends are over reacting I mean it's a month for crying out loud.
Reply:really would not read too much into this. he probably feels that a card which will eventually be discarded and flowers will eventually die is just ironic. and feels that it would e ebtter actually doing soemthing with you too create memories of you and him together.
dont worry it is a good thing. he is just more of the do stuff with than do stuff for u type of guy which is good.
Reply:Well, as a guy, I don't understand this thing about one month anniversaries. I mean, I can understand a year, but monthly anniversaries are just too much. It just feels like saying "Phew, we made it to a month".
I'd do something amazingly nice for her, on the first anniversary, and in the meantime give her flowers, and random cards to know that she's on my thoughts.
Now that said, maybe he is a different kinda guy. There are many variations of us, actually :) So, talk to him... casually bring up the conversation of anniversaries and ask him how you should plan to celebrate your anniversary. It will give you the chance to open up and discuss more on whats going on inside...
This is nothing critical at all. Don't scare the poor guy away :)
Reply:no, u should not say anything. ur friends r being overcritical. it is a 1 month aniversary, hes not proposing and ur not married. As u said he bought u a nice dinner and u were happy. So leave it at that! Do not take all ur relationship advice from ur friends. You have to follow YOUR heart and YOUR head or else u will fail.
Reply:Send yourself flowers and then tell him "thank you so much for the flowers you sent me! The card said anonymous - but I know it just HAD to be you! You are the sweetest man alive!!!" Maybe he'll get the idea and be a little jealous at the same time!!
Reply:your Friends are too critical .. romance is not doing the sweet things on "critical times" but saying how beautiful he finds you every day and things along those lines, how long you have been together should not be as important as how much you care for one another
Reply:It's not the object he gives you but the time and love. What are flowers something to waste money on there going to die with time you want something that is going to last with the relationship. What do people do with store bought cards they thow them in a corner to never be seen again a waste of money. Moneys not what a relationship is built on, IT'S LOVE!!!!. So in the end a homemade gift comes from the heart it's true love. Just be happy he's showning he loves you!!!!!!!!
Reply:If you don't say anything and resent him for it you will be to blame. If your feeling something tell him honesty is the best policy If he changes you will know it was for you. If he does not you will know how things will be if you pursue this relationship with him. you cant make him change only ask. better to know what your in for that's why you are dating in the first place.
p.s. friends always seem to look for drama.
Reply:Well, I think there should be bigger milestones. One month isn't a big deal. On your one year anniversary, there should be tokens of affection. But, just a warning, to have expected tokens on milestones really isn't spontaneous. I've been married fifteen years, and it really is the "just because" flowers and tokens that still make my heart go pitter patter.

Where can i buy inexpensive flowers online from the us and have them shipped to the uk?
i'm looking to purchse a get well gift, flowers, balloons, a bear, for a friend over in london...a man in his 20s. i live in the united states. where can i purchase something like this? like a website? i've tried 1800 flowers and all of their packages that can be shipped to his area are quite pricey and very feminine looking. i'm looking to spend less than 30 dollars for the actual price of the product. maybe a little more if it's all that i can find. and more for shipping of course. i also need it guranteed for delivery next week on a specific day. any suggestions? or any suggestions for DIFFERENT get well gifts that can be sent here? thank you so much!
Where can i buy inexpensive flowers online from the us and have them shipped to the uk?
In the UK there is a service called interfora which arranges for a local florist to make up the order and deliver it.
Reply:You will be better off using an online florist based in the UK.
Reply:It's actually cheaper (than using Interflora etc) if you know whereabouts he is in the UK and have a look for florist shops close to him that accept c/c.
Cuts down on costs heaps, you can always ask if they have a website where you can pick the arrangement you want as well.

Does any one have any ideas for new and exciting gifts for wives on Valentines day?
It seems like she has everything and I know flowers are nice but I want something unexpected for her.
Does any one have any ideas for new and exciting gifts for wives on Valentines day?
Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.
Reply:What about some time at a spa or a massage? What about having dinner ready for her, with the table already set, a bottle of wine and candle light? What about doing some of the special things that you use to do when you were dating and bring back some wonderful memories? Maybe spend the day or two together, go out of town, and just enjoy each others company. Show her how much more she means to you by remembering the qualities that got you together in the first place.
Reply:I agree with the last comment. Some spa time away from work or kids is always good, and sometimes women feel guilty to treat themselves in that way. so its nice to have someone else treat them!
Reply:You know I have been married for 9 years and I was thinking, maybe you could do this too. i am going to blind fold my hubby and put him in the car, I will have my kids stay home and set up dinner for us there and my friend or mom will get them they will call me when ready, I will drive him to our home which will be covered with candles and rose petals,we will eat with our fingers only like baked cornish hens or chiken breads grapes and cheese and of course strawberries and chocolate. When I pull up to the house I will not take off the blindfold until we are completely inside and he can smell all the wonderful scents going on. Is it too much we have already planned this out what do you think?

Does anyone have some good ideas for valentines day gifts?
I want to get a gift for my mom and dad, but also a guy at school. But I don't want to get them the normal candy and flowers so...help me please.
Does anyone have some good ideas for valentines day gifts?
For your mum and dad you could write them a poem or find one of the net (I would recomend wrighting one) and put it in a special picture frame and make it really pretty. (I did that once for my mum and Dad and they genuinly loved it!!!) For the guy try see what he likes and do something in the lines of that but maybe change it a bit. Like if he likes chocolate don't go out and buy a block of chocolate buy some meltable stuff and make ur own chocolates and give it a personal touch to it. You could buy moulds and make words or objects familiar to him e.g motorbikes, trucks, cars. It's your decision!!!
Good luck!
:)
Reply:As for the guy at school....how about getting a key made and then have it engraved with your name. Give it to him on a necklace and tell him that now he has the key to your heart. (It would be better if you can find a key that has a heart shaped handle)
Reply:put in your question how much money you want to spend, it's hard to answer a question w/o knowing the facts.

Search in a search engine to see if any of your local flower shops have online sites. If so, they may be cheaper than the big name flower shops.
Reply:www.proflowers.com is a lot cheaper than most of the florist sites (like FTD) and the flowers are very pretty

Boss's Day is October 15th. Does anyone have any ideas for good gifts?
I have two female bosses. They are great. I want to get away from the tradional flowers, massages, and tacky pens. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Boss's Day is October 15th. Does anyone have any ideas for good gifts?
National Boss's Day is always on October 16th......Check out Hallmark for Gifts.....they are always pretty well stocked for this Day. In addition, you can always purchase a Gift Certificate for a Restaurant or Manicure. Both are thoughtful and affordable especially when you need to buy for two. Good Luck!
Reply:I gave a day at the spa, once. Usually I do lunch. I have also done gift certificates.
P.S. It is not brown-nosing. If you like your boss you should celebrate. Not everyone is as fortunate.
Reply:It's on the 16th...but I wouldn't be a brown-nose anyway
Reply:Give them a caricature of themselves! Try www.giveacaricature.com for some great caricature ideas, and they have just recently spun off myfaceicons.com to get a less expensive version of the caricature.
Reply:I made my supervisor a little coupon for a free lunch. I decorated it and made it look fancy and she loved it. The following year, I gave her a gift certificate to a book store because she loves to read.
Reply:Unique art gift is the best present.
Have you taken an array of photos throughout your relationship? If so try photoartomation.com
they convert a digital photos into paintings of different art styles and print them on canvas.
I have just received my beautiful painting from photoartomation.com and I am over the moon with it.
Reply:Whatever you decide, is OK with me, I will chip in.
Do you have change for a nickel?
Reply:Bosses day, are you having a laugh.
You get a minimun wage compared to your bosses.
They get bonuses every year, you don't.
What an absurd idea.
And the fact that there are people falling for it.
Someone somewhere in a gold covered board-room is laughing hysterically... at you!
Reply:A swift kick in the rear is always a good idea.

What is a great creative college graduation gift for my sister-in-law?
I want to get something different... not the usual flowers, cards, gift cards, clothes, etc. Any ideas?
What is a great creative college graduation gift for my sister-in-law?
What did she study in college? Will she be needing a briefcase? Will she have business cards? If so, how about a business card holder... A gift certificate to have a massage since she's worked so hard thru college... A really nice frame to put her diploma in... A nice frame for her picture... an evening at the restaurant to celebrate... a bottle of champagne to celbrate... Some really nice letterhead paper with her new initials following her name (if that's happening after she receives her diploma)... A portfolio to carry her resumés and reference letter to job interviews...
Reply:get her a goft card to a teaching supply store for her to stock up on great things for her students.
make her a teachers care basket: buy her a chair massager, a coffee cup the heats up by plugging it in (works for tea too) a comfy pair of shoes to wear in class, maybe a scented candle and of course a small gift card to a teacher supply store so she can buy some cool stuff for her students.
Reply:Well, what did she learn? I would get something cool that pertain to her Degree, but, you not say, so, I can not tell. Buy her some Reese's Pieces and tell her this for when you not get a job, drop them on the floor and pick up the pieces and move on with life. Sorry, this all I know from the limited knowledge you give.
Now my niece and her friend helped my brother and me move his boat from Florida to Texas. We ate a lot of Spam. This girl say after we got home she never want to see Spam again. For her graduation, can you guess what I gave that girl for graduation?
Reply:Our community has a couple of stores that cater to teachers. They sell items useful in class, teachers aids. A gift cetificate there would be great.
Any present that shows support for her, would be great. Some thing to relax with, something to make her feel pretty, something to unwind with after a day at school.
Reply:Are you creative with the computer. Here is what I would like (I'm about to graduate college myself).
My daughter is making me a memory album that shows some of the things she remembers about my time in college. What she has learned from what I've struggled with and what I'm about to do career-wise. So, how about giving her something that represents her struggles in school and what she has overcome?

Any present that shows support for her, would be great. Some thing to relax with, something to make her feel pretty, something to unwind with after a day at school.
Reply:Are you creative with the computer. Here is what I would like (I'm about to graduate college myself).
My daughter is making me a memory album that shows some of the things she remembers about my time in college. What she has learned from what I've struggled with and what I'm about to do career-wise. So, how about giving her something that represents her struggles in school and what she has overcome?
