What are the best and least expensive pink flowers for mother's day?

I donated to a breast cancer organization for my mother and my aunt's mother's day gifts. To not just hand them a piece of paper, I had the idea of also getting them pink flowers. Which ones should I be looking for that are inexpensive yet beautiful for mother's day?


I could spare some cash but I gave up most of my money on the donation for both women......

I would get each one a pink gerber (or gerbera) daisy. They are a little more expensive, but they are beautiful so you can get away with giving just one :-)


They are nice and big, and the stems are thick so you could even jazz it up by wrapping the stem in a pink ribbon and attaching your own little tag that says something like "Happy Mothers Day...A Donation was made in your name..." or whatever you want.
Reply:Carnations would probably be the cheapest, but those are so over used. If that makes sense lol. Neither as pretty as other options.





I know that some shops use colored dye on daisies, those are cheap and would look pretty in pink.

Reply:Go for a bright pink gerbera daisy. Those are cute, you would only need one, a little nicer than a carnation.

They are cheap, last a good while, smell great but not overpowering, and are really pretty!


I realy like them - had them in my wedding bouquet because I like them so much!
