What is a good way to give people Valentine gifts without spluring?

I was thinking maybe cute friendship rings I found that we had when we were kids. Flowers, are a possibility but I can only spend so much on a number of people. Any easy homemade gifts that don't look cheap and or a squalor. Thank you!!

What is a good way to give people Valentine gifts without spluring?
here is what I would do. Go to the craft store and find somethings to paint OR make bubbles to hang which is fun. You need ballons (round ones), colorful yarn, glue.

You Blow up the ballon to whatever size you want

Put all the glue in the bowl.

Take the yard and put some in a bowl without tangling it. Normally I take the ball and put in on one side of the bowl and drag the yarn through the bowl as I use it. The yarn needs to be totally soaked with glue

With the glue wet yarn wrap it around the ballon in a diiferent directions. So you can still see the balloon and don't use all the yarn. There should be space where you can see in and there doesnt have to be a pattern unless you want one.

Wait for it to dry.

Pop the balloon and carefully pick the pieces off. At the top put sting to hang it.

Now you can see inside the ball you have made. Inside you can put a picture. Get pink grass and put valentine candy in it. Stuff a small beanie baby in there OR real/silk flowers and make an arangement on the inside

It can hang from anywhere and can be used as a decoration in a childs room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. etc

I have seen this same project only people use clear spray paint instead of glue and spray in on the yard and balloon.
Reply:Spluring is a made up worth that I'll take to mean spewage of bliss. Thus, don't give large females vibrating valentines cards if you dont want to get your shoes wet.

What's the best way to preserve already dead/dried, unpressed flowers?

I've already hung the flowers to dry them, and I am now looking for a solution to preserving them so the petals will not crack or fall off were I to put them in a vase or gift them.

Too late. Just try to avoid jostling them too much.

What are the best and least expensive pink flowers for mother's day?

I donated to a breast cancer organization for my mother and my aunt's mother's day gifts. To not just hand them a piece of paper, I had the idea of also getting them pink flowers. Which ones should I be looking for that are inexpensive yet beautiful for mother's day?

I could spare some cash but I gave up most of my money on the donation for both women......

What are the best and least expensive pink flowers for mother's day?
I would get each one a pink gerber (or gerbera) daisy. They are a little more expensive, but they are beautiful so you can get away with giving just one :-)

They are nice and big, and the stems are thick so you could even jazz it up by wrapping the stem in a pink ribbon and attaching your own little tag that says something like "Happy Mothers Day...A Donation was made in your name..." or whatever you want.
Reply:Carnations would probably be the cheapest, but those are so over used. If that makes sense lol. Neither as pretty as other options.

I know that some shops use colored dye on daisies, those are cheap and would look pretty in pink.

Gerbera daisies are also gorge
Reply:Go for a bright pink gerbera daisy. Those are cute, you would only need one, a little nicer than a carnation.
Reply:Best value: mixed pink carnations!

They are cheap, last a good while, smell great but not overpowering, and are really pretty!

I realy like them - had them in my wedding bouquet because I like them so much!
Reply:i saw alot of nice tulips over the weekend at sam's club they were mostly pink.. very season appropriate
Reply:probably carnations
Reply:the ones you steal from your neighbor's yard

Do you think people like to give flowers as a gift?

Do flowers have any special meanings in your country?

On what occasions do your country's people send flowers to each other?

Do you know What are the functions of flowers at weddings and restaurants?

When did you last send flowers?

Do you think people like to give flowers as a gift?
well people like to give flowers because its very cheap. but in minutes it will be in the bin. almost every country has a national flower india has the lotus. we can probably recognise a country by its flowers canada has the maple leaf. on a wedding or festival etc.flowers look quiet pleasant at weddings and restorants.
Reply:In South Africa the Protea is the official flower.

I think all countries send flowers for the same reasons, usually for mother's day, christenings, funerals, when someone is in hospital, birthdays. Basically for any reason you want to.

The function of flowers at a wedding or restaurant is to beautify the room or hall. Also if it is nice smelling flowers, for the aroma.

The last time I sent flowers wer 3 years ago to my mother.

I don't send flowers, because it is extremely expensive and a waste. Flowers that are picked die faster than when they are still on the plant. It is cruel to pick flowers in my opinion.

I'd rather, and I do, send or give someone a plant. It makes more sense.

Yes do it. For sure. It would let her know there is hope.
Reply:i think that that might be a nice gesture on your part. :) i sure she wouldnt be upset to recieve that from you and it might make her feel nice. I think it would be nice. something simple.
Reply:I would have to say no, you are getting ready to send her mixed signals especially if this is not part of your plan to work things out between the two of you.

Good intentions, but think about what this will mean to her.
Reply:its something you want to do not what we think you should but since you are thinking about it it will not hurt will it? why not
Reply:if you still love her and would wish to still be together then yes, do what your heart tells you. you wont get her back unless you dont put some effort in.

or if there's a chance you may reconcile, then yes do it.!!

however, if you dont actually wish to be together, then leave well alone- you dont need to pretend, if you dont feel that way, or dont feel obliged just if she's upset etc, you cant give her false hope.

im not sure that made any sense, goodnite. bit late.
Reply:Please don't give her anything unless you have an intention of reconciliation if you aren't getting back together don't. she will get the wrong idea and then get her feelings hurt and i am sure that you don't want to hurt her feelings.
Reply:I do not guess that it would hurt anything if the two of you are still on good terms. Giving a few flowers never hurt anyone. I wouldn't go all out and buy dozens of flowers but a single red rose would be nice.
Reply:depends on how close the two of you are. if you want to, do it. are you wanting to get back together?

maybe just a card.

Men if your gf had more money than you would u still buy her gifts/flowers and take her out to diner or expect
I make more than my boyfriend and I still apprieciate being taken out and getting gifts. I don't expect it, and I pay my half or more most of the time. And regardless of who has the most money, it can get tiring to be expected to pay for things all the time, so we try to buy groceries and stay in and limit the gifts to special occasions to even things out. I wouldn't respect a guy who wanted me to carry the financial burden alone.
Reply:i would still try to buy her as many gifts/flowers as i could.
Reply:I make a little more then twice what my boyfriend dose and he still buys me things such as flowers whenever he can. When we go out sometimes he pays and sometimes I pay, especially he if has helped me out in some way like changing my oil or fixing a water problem. At first I hated for him to spend money b/c I knew he didn't have much but this really hurt his feelings and made him feel like bum, so becareful not to hurt the manly male ego. They r our protectors. (Not sarcasm, seriously)
Reply:I would, and I would enjoy buying my girlfriend/date the dinner + items.
Reply:yes, of course. you dont have to do it everytime. but some times. its always nice, let her know that you love, appreciate and dont take her for granted. and what do you mean dutch?
Reply:No.... she should do that 4 me if she packin like that
Reply:yea in my opinion it shows that you care about her but i dont know what you

mean by this dutch thing

What flowers should I get for the cast of girls in the musical production that I'm in?

I am the lead in my community theater's production of "Oklahoma!" and I would like to get all of the girls in the cast a flower. I need flowers for 13 chorus girls and then I'd like to get something a little nicer like a small boquet for 4 of the girls with bigger parts. Single red roses are rather expensive..5 dollars from what I've found. I'm having trouble shopping for single flowers online and finding out my options and the pricing. I'd like to get them something special and unique, but I am on a bit of a budget and there are a lot of girls. Also ideas for the boquets that wouldn't be too pricey. Should I get something for the director, costume ladies, and musical director as well? I was thinking maybe just cards for them, and we do give a group gift. Any ideas are appreciated.

What flowers should I get for the cast of girls in the musical production that I'm in?
From what I've heard the tradition is to give red roses after the first performance. A single rose is sufficient for the chorus girls, a nicer bouquet for the other cast members consisting of a rose and another less expensive flower. You can buy fresh flowers in grocery stores and design your own bouquets, for the single roses, I'd suggest you get a dozen roses and separate them. The only place I've ever heard of anyone charging $5.00 is in restaurants when there is a flower girl/seller walking around and that is highway robbery. Please just go to Albertson's and talk to the clerk at the flower section, they also sell balloon bouquets.
Reply:Well, carnations are good, but try shopping around at local flower shops. A single flower is good for the choral members, and if you think you could do it, get a couple other types of flowers also, and either a cheap vase or ribbon, string, and tissue paper, to make your own boquet.

To make your own boquet, hold the flowers, and arrange them carefully in your hand. Then get someone to tie the string carefully around the middles of the flower stems, while they are all grouped together. Now take the tissue paper, and gather it around the flowers, (with the bottom of the paper extending just slightly past the string) , so that it looks kind of like it does on the store bought boquets, and finish of by having someone tie the ribbon fairly tightly around the tissue paper to hold it. Sit the flowers in water, and break a leg!
